Inspired by Hypatia of Alexandria — a symbol of knowledge, curiosity, and fearless thinking.
While the spelling is uniquely ours, it still echoes beautifully in Arabic — Hebatia.
But there is also something deeply personal hidden within this name…
Over the years, Heba worked with students from all backgrounds — diplomats, researchers, artists, expats, and learners living in Egypt.
“How can I speak Arabic with confidence
and connect naturally with Egyptians?”
That was when Heba realized there was a real gap between what is taught in textbooks and what is actually lived in reality.
From this gap, Hebatia was born — a space where language meets culture and lived experience.
Modern Standard Arabic (MSA)
Elegant. Rooted. Timeless.
Egyptian Colloquial Arabic (ECA)
Vibrant. Natural. Everyday.
Language is a living thing. In MSA, we explore eloquence through classical and modern sources. In ECA, we make real-life communication simple, practical, and alive.

“Hebatia changed the way I see Arabic and Egypt.”

“Itkalim Masry helped me finally understand and speak Egyptian Arabic naturally.”

“The lessons are warm, engaging, and full of real-life Arabic.”
These were the words of my son, Noor — my light, my strength, and the reason I found the courage to begin again.
This journey carries a part of him.
Beyond the language… there is love.
Whether you want to explore Modern Standard Arabic, Egyptian Colloquial, or experience the language through real Egyptian life — Hebatia is here to guide your journey.
